Internet Economy Good for Business

Papua New Guinea (PNG) is fast developing into an internet economy which is important for business between women and the international economies around the world.

But the government must be commended for taking the lead and prioritizing the need for internet economy to be prospered through their information, communication and technology programs between now and 2018.

Chair of the APEC Business Advisory Council and CEO of the Magsaysay Group of Companies, Doris Magsaysay Ho, yesterday spoke about the need for the women of PNG to start getting into the internet business and take it into another level through the international market.

She said that the world was changing and internet economy is taking shape all over the world and PNG was also fast entering into that world therefore there was a need to seriously get into that field.

She said:

Internet economy allows the women to access and gives a great potential for women to be able to access a larger trade rather than the one they are used to.
