UPNG activates COVID-19 business continuity plan
Port Moresby – The University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG) has activated its COVID-19 business continuity plan in response to a student testing positive last week.
According to the Post Courier (27 July), the plan reflects the control measures in a Stage 3 situation which includes immediate contact tracing, physical distancing and heightened security at the varsity gates.
The security measures include vehicle and personnel passes for essential staff and service providers; hand sensitization; temperature checks and 7:30 pm curfew.
Meanwhile all essential learning will continue online or through a blended mode for the next 21 days.
