The official cause of Steve Jobs’ death has been revealed as a cancerous tumour in his pancreas.
Yahoo News reports Jobs stopped breathing in his home in Palo Alto on the 5thof October. This was made public yesterday at a private memorial for Apple’s Silicon Valley employees. There has also been talk of a planned tribute to be held on the 19th at an outdoor amphitheatre in the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, California.
Meanwhile, an internet movement is underway to have October 14 as the Steve Jobs Day. It marks to celebrate the life of the late Jobs by asking participants to dress like him; sporting turtle necks and posting online. The day is the brainchild of digital marketing firm Studiocom.
