Downloading Direct from Ovi Store to Your PC
I recently acquired a Nokia 5230 and for those with Nokia phones, Ovi Store provides the best source for applications, games etc. Unfortunately, it is there is no option to download directly to your computer.
There is, fortunately, a simple hack that you can do to download directly to your PC. I’ve tried it on Firefox and it works perfectly.
Steps
- Go to the Ovi Store website
- Log on to the website. If you don’t have an account, create one. It’s free.
- Select the application you want to download. You will be directed to the application page and there will be two options
- Send to Mobile
- Send to Friend
- Click on Send to Friend
- Go to the URL bar and replace “send-to-friend” with “download” and hit Enter /Return.
The browser will start download the file automatically.
