Winners of the $1 million prize in the 2014 COD Championships
I’ve been late bringing this news but as they say ‘better late than never’, so without further ado here is the list of winners of the 2014 Call of Duty (COD) Championships held in Los Angeles from March 28 – 30, 2014 thanks to www.polygon.com.
The $1 million prize money was split eight ways with everyone walking away with a considerable amount of green.
First prize went to CompLexity who walked away with $400, 000, followed by EnVyUs who got $200, 000 and the third spot went to OpTic Gaming who received a share of $120, 000.
Strictly Business walked away with $100, 000 in fourth place, followed by Trident T1dotters with $70, 000 and FaZe who got $50, 000. Rise Nation, in seventh place got $35, 000 and VexX Revenge took home $25, 000.
The Call of Duty Championships featured 32 teams from around the world battling it out for a share of $1 million prize.
