Duty Calls – teams that qualified for the 2014 Call of Duty Championships
‘Many are called, but few are chosen‘ (Matthew 22:14) and with the Call of Duty Championships just days away, we finally have the list of chosen teams competing for the prize, thanks to their online community.
There will be eight pools of four teams vying for the top spot and Australia and New Zealand (NZ) will be represented by two teams: Trident T1 dotters and Immunity. A total of 32 teams will fight it out for the grand prize.
The teams to battle for the prize are in pool A are Strictly Business (USA), Sublime (Italy), Vitality Returns (France) and Team Rize ZA (South Africa).
Pool B consists of CompLexity (USA), Real AllStars (Netherlands), VexX Revenge (Canada) and Team Orbit (UK) while pool C is Team Kaliber (USA), Lightning Pandas (EU), WiLD Gaming (Canada) and Reign Mix (Sweden).
Pool D is made up of FaZe (USA), SK Gaming (Germany), Trident T1dotters (Australia) and Aztek Gaming (Mexico) and E is last year’s finalists EnVyUs (USA), TEC Intensity (UK), Immunity (Australia) and Klarity Team (United Arab Emirates)
Pool F is Rise Nation (USA), Vitality Rises (France), Brazil 5 Stars (Brazil) and Wizards (Spain) and pool G is OpTic Gaming (USA), Epsilon Esports (UK), SSOF Gaming (Brazil) and Nsp (South Korea) while pool H comprises XFinity Gaming (USA), TCM Gaming (UK), Killerfish (Germany) and Echelon (Singapore).
Unfortunately last year’s winners, Fariko Impact, is not on the list. However, this gives an opportunity for others to claim the prize.
Anyway, these groups have qualified for the championships and we wish them all the best.
