UniVentures are New Kids on the Block
uniSAVE 55″ LED multimedia screen
The University of Papua New Guinea’s (UPNG) business arm, UniVentures, which is usually responsible for the university bookshop is expanding into the ICT sector.
The company in a joint venture with Korean company Samchung Ltd (PNG) is assembling and selling top of the range laptops, notebooks and LCD multimedia screens under the brand name UniSave. As a promotional and marketing strategy, they have been donating to government and corporate bodies.
As a new company the production is quite small with 400 units to be ready by next week. Currently available are notebooks starting from the uniSAVE KMS200, RAH400, NAR500 and WMG550 range and the uniSAVE 32, 42, 47 and 55 LED screens. The notebook models are named after university professors, lecturers etc.
