One thing I’ve heard many people ask is how they can transfer data from their phone to their modems.
We all go through the trouble of removing a modem, inserting it into a phone, getting data and then putting it back. It’s too much of a hassle and waste of time. Well, thanks to Soxx of PNG ICT Community, here is how you can transfer data to your Digicel 4G modem.
30D: 1.5Gb (30Days): *129*modemNumber*1500# <Send>
MEGA: 1.9Gb (15Days): *129*modemNumber*1900# <Send>
SUPER: 5.0Gb (30days): *129*modemNumber*5000# <Send>
JUMBO: 9.5Gb (30Days): *129*modemNumber*9500# <Send>
Now, Soxx also does a review of Digicel’s 4G LTE modem web interface, and the PNG ICT Community is a great venue to get help, pointers and tips.
You can also follow the community on Facebook.
This way of transferring data is only applicable to Digicel modems. It cannot be used on a bemobile-Vodafone modem or Telikom modem. However, I’m are hoping these two will come up with something soon.
