PNG Air announces extension of domestic ports
PNG wishes to inform its valued customers, as per directive from the State of Emergency (SOE) Controller, approval has been given for PNG Air to resume domestic flights to all ports including Wewak, Kiunga, Daru and Vanimo. Approval for travel to these ports is no longer required except for Lihir, Buka, Kieta and Tabubil which remain closed.
Air Passenger Travel Forms process will still be enforced prior to purchasing of ticket, for SoE contact tracing purposes. PNG Air will continue to operate within strict health and safety measurements; with numerous protocols in place such as hand sanitising, face masks and temperature testing of all passengers to prevent any spread of COVID-19.
With the extension of Domestic Services operating, we expect to increase our frequency to operating ports and introduce new ports in the upcoming month
