4 Bitcoin Faucets You Can Use to Earn Bitcoin
There are several ways to earn bitcoins. However, in this post I focus primarily on the easiest way – bitcoin faucets.
What is a bitcoin faucet?
A bitcoin faucet is a reward website that gives out satoshis; the smallest fraction of a bitcoin currency – like cents is to dollars, in exchange for completing a certain task.
The faucet leverages advertisements to earn either hard currency or crypto-currency while rewarding users in crypto-currency. Payments vary depending on the faucet and payment is done only when a certain threshold is met.
Earning bitcoin through a faucet is easy as it does not require too much input. However, payments are lower compared to other means of earning bitcoins.
Below is a list of 4 bitcoin faucets you can use to earn.
99Bitcoins
99Bitcoins is the first on my list because it is the first faucet website I used when starting in bitcoins. They pay between 50 – 150 satoshis every 5 minutes. However, they have a 124 claim limit per 24 hours.
If you try to claim more than 124 times within 24 hours then you will get barred from the site.
Also, unlike most faucets, 99bitcoins does not have a referral program and they pay only if your account has reached 13,000 satoshis.
Claim BTC
ClaimBTC allows you to claim after every 20 minutes and payments vary. However, they have additional options to earn more including bonuses like amulets and potions.
The bonuses are virtual and give you extra earning power for duration of time. They expire if not used within the specified duration.
They also have referral program which allows you to earn up to 25% of your referral’s claims.
Claim BTC also has an android app you can install in your phone.
Easy Bitcoin Faucet
EasyBitcoinFaucet is much like Claim BTC including bonuses and referrals. However, you earn between 6 – 24 satoshis, and can claim after 10 minutes.
The referral rate is also 25%.
Field Coins
Field Coins offers two options of payment either directly to your bitcoin wallet address or to a Xapo account.
The site has partnered with Xapo and will create a new account for you if you don’t have one. If you do, then signing in with the email address used to create your Xapo account will automatically link to your account and all payments done directly.
They pay a minimum of 100 satoshis to Xapo accounts, and have a referral rate of 50%. The highest I’ve seen yet.
This faucet is a bit different from the rest. The site allows you to claim as much as you want with a 5 minute interval. However, the claims build up over the days and you get a much larger payout.
A World of Bitcoin Faucets
There are literally thousands of bitcoin faucets to be found on the internet. However, they are all not the same. Some let you earn bitcoin by playing games, others by filling in challenges and others like Field Coins allows your payout to accumulate.
These 4 are just a drop in the ocean and you can discover more faucets, but you’ve got to be careful about scammers.
Anyway, I hope you can utilize these 4 bitcoin faucets to get you started in earning bitcoins.
