Cheaper, faster internet with Telikom’s 4G network
Telikom PNG has embarked on slashing internet costs by half; and increasing its data customers by providing faster internet at affordable rates.
National Business Development Manager, Bill Wartovo, says the data bundles are as cheap as K2 for 60MB three days.
What that means is customers can now watch three full length high definition movies for only K16.
National Business Development Manager, Wartovo says the fast internet will give Papua New Guineans a new dimension into internet usage.
Today in Lae, Telikom customers replaced old 2G and 3G sims for a new 4G sim at the Telikom exchange building.
With mobile service companies in a headlock to see who can provide the cheapest prices, Telikom has come to fire with speed and affordability.
The promotion is known as the 4G LTE Mobile SIM SWAP. The swap includes old Citifon SIMs with their devices, EVDO modems and tablets. Swappers will receive a new Huawei Y330 with their 4G LTE SIM Card. The promotion started on Saturday December 2 and will run through to December 16 for Lae residents. Signers are encouraged to bring their valid id cards to register their SIMs.
