Nambawan Super launches 1599
Nambawan Super Ltd (NSL) announces to its members and stakeholders that it now has a unified Call Centre number, 1599 for all telecoms operators.
1599 replaces all previous three Call Centre numbers; 3095311, 73337777 and 76112222.
Charlie Gilichibi, Chief Manager Member Services said “this is part of Nambawan’s continuous digital transformation program to better service 160,000 members, providing value beyond a healthy balance.”
The unified Call Centre number, 1599 is intended to reduce the cognitive load for members so they can easily remember only one number. This ensures Nambawan members and stakeholders can easily remember one Call Centre number and email address: callcentre@nambawansuper.com.pg.
Nambawan has a state-of-the-art Call Centre that exceeds international benchmarks by responding to 98% of calls within 5 seconds. The World Bank (IFC) benchmark is that 80% of calls have to be responded to within 20 seconds.
Gilichibi said, “deployment of 1599 further improves Nambawan’s standing as a truly customer focused organisation that has recently been exceeding some global benchmarks and will continue on that journey.”
Calls to 1599 are localised to each network operator, meaning if a member dials from a Telikom, Bmobile or Digicel number, the call will not incur interconnection costs to switch between networks.
With intelligent design and configuration, a call to 1599 from a Bmobile number, for instance, will be recognized as a local Bmobile to Bmobile on-net call.
Nambawan Super is the largest superannuation Fund with K5.5 billion in assets and 160,000 members.
