How to Fix an Upside Down Dell Latitude E5440 Notebook Screen Display

Everything was upside down.
So this morning I got called into my boss’s office to have a look at his Dell Latitude E5440 notebook. Somehow, the logon screen had flipped upside down which made it a bit nauseating just trying to logon.
Now, the fix is pretty simple, however, I had quite a struggle trying to logon mainly because everything was the opposite. Every time I moved tried to move the pointer down, it went up. Anyway, the solution is simple.
The control keys for rotating the screen are CTRL + ALT + ↑ or ↓ or → or ←. However, if this does not work on the logon screen then you must login before flipping the screen back to its normal position.
If that does not work then you can always go into the graphic option can change the rotation of the screen from there.
Please note that while this fix may work on most notebooks, it is advisable to consult the manual for your particular brand and model.
