BeMobile partners with Nambawan Super
BeMobile has partnered with the country’s premier superannuation fund, Nambawan Super, to launch a new and improved SMS service allowing members to check their account balances through mobile phones.
The Superfund’s website said the service was launched in April and CEO, Gary Tunstall, described it
“as improved SMS service is in addition to the activities that Nambawan Super has embarked on to ramp up member services and establish effective communication between the members and their Super Fund.”
Nambawan Super members subscribed to BeMobile can now check their account balance by registering for the service.
The superfund already has over 13, 000 members registered for its online and mobile services and it embarking on an aggressive campaign to get 100% of its membership on electronic services.
A similar service was launched in 2011 with Digicel PNG.
How members can check their balance
BeMobile subscribers can check their balance and transaction history by sending an SMS to 16661 in the following format:
MembershipNumber*PIN for example [123456*7890]
