Taking a sneak peek at Microsoft Windows 8

Microsoft is ready to launch their latest Operating System (OS), Windows 8 and take a closer look at the much talked about system. What can you expect from Windows 8?
For users of Windows mobile devices, the system may look quite familiar; Windows 8 is designed with the touch system in mind so the start menu has been replaced with the ‘start screen’ and the system feels lighter than its predecessors.
Windows 8 will come pre-loaded with Internet Explorer (IE) 10 and Media Player 12 and the music icons are also different with a headphone instead of the traditional musical note.
Also an added bonus is that Hyper V comes as a built in feature which was previously exclusive to Windows 2008 Server R2.
The release preview of Windows 8 can be downloaded here. The official release will be on October 25 and Microsoft is offering a special $39.99 upgrade to Windows 8 Pro for current Windows users.
