Google Chrome extension allows remote access
Google Chrome has released a beta extension that allows users to remotely connect to another computer using the Chrome browser or Chromebook on Friday.
According to Chrome store, the beta release is to demonstrate the technology and get feedback. It allows users to share with or get access to another computer by proving a one-time authentication code; access is given to specific users for a period of time and is fully secured. One potential use is for remote IT helpdesk support.
Reviews of the extension have been positive so far.
