Post PNG Launches MobileSMK
Papua New Guinea’s (PNG) postal service provider, Post PNG, introduced another service to clients this week with the introduction of the Mobile Salim Moni Kwik (MobileSMK)
The service is just an extension or upgrade of the existing SMK service and reduces the paperwork. The service capitalises on Digicel’s cellmoni service which was launched earlier this month.
At the moment the service is only available to Digicel subscribers. However, according to a report by Estella Cheung in the business section of Post Courier (29/07/11), Post PNG project manager Brandon Thomas said:
“…the company would look to migrate to in future to beMobile and Citifone…”
To get more information or register for this service, enquire at your nearest Post Office or visit the MobileSMK website (http://www.mobilesmk.com.pg/).
