KTHL and PNG DataCo service outage notice
Subscribers to Kumul Telikom Holding Limited (KTHL) and PNG DataCo services will see a planned outage from 12 midnight to 3am on July 1, 2018. The downtime will be a result of the PPC1 submarine link from Madang to Sydney to be upgraded.
The link has capacity of 3GBps and will be upgraded to 10GBps to meet the demand during the APEC summit in November. The service providers have advised that subscribers will experience either not service or very highly congested traffic.
