Telikom PNG Network Outage Notice
Telikom PNG wishes to inform its valued customers that there is a critical network outage on PPC-1 Sea Cable affecting internet services.
Location of outage: Madang Exchange & Branching Unit
Cause of Incident: Fiber break between Madang and Branching Unit due to recent earth quake.
Communication traffic has been rerouted from PPC1 to APNG2 however clients and major customers may experience congestion during this period of outage.
Telikom PNG network engineers are working closely with TPG, the operator of PPC-1 to resolve the issue.
