Dolmio’s Pepper hacker hijacks technology
Technology has hijacked valuable family time and it seems the more connected we are, the more isolated we become. However, Dolmio [Mars Foods] has a new product, the Pepper Hacker, which literally hijacks technology; allowing families’ that valuable time – dinner.
The company has released a video on their Youtube channel showing the prototype being testing on unsuspecting family members.
According to Mumbrella, the device does not emit an electromagnetic pulse but has the same effect to one.
The device is not an electromagnetic pulse, but rather has an effect similar to one by shutting down pre-programmed devices around the home when it is activated, Forster said. It was designed and implemented by Pollen.
While the technology is still unavailable to the public, concerns have already been raised regarding the legality of the product especially in Australia.
