Google introduces Google Cast for audio
Google’s Chromecast became one of the most popular streaming media devices in 2014 with the device used in more than 27 countries, and usage increased by 60% with the launch of new apps and features, or so the Google Chrome Blog says.
Now, they have launched the Google Cast for audio which, as the name suggests, streams audio directly to speakers, sound bars and AV receivers like Chromecast.
Google Cast ready speakers are able to pull content directly from cloud.
