Public warned not to buy or resell Independence Flash Sale tickets
Air Niugini wishes to advise the travelling public not to buy or re-sell special Independence Flash Sale tickets that were purchased at K44.
This follows reports that some of these heavily discounted tickets were being sold to the public for higher price than the initial price at which the tickets were purchased.
We appeal to the public not to purchase these tickets as they are not transferable as per the conditions of the fare, and have already been cancelled. Passengers holding onto such tickets will be denied boarding.
These heavily discounted tickets were purchased during September 14th – 16th as part of Air Niugini’s commemoration of the country’s 44th Independence anniversary, giving ordinary Papua New Guineans the chance to travel anyway within the country in October this year for only K44 per sector.
We also remind our customers who purchased these special tickets to ensure they travel on the specific dates as per the ticket or they will lose the ticket as the rules and conditions of the promotion still apply. Changes are not permitted and there are no refunds.
