European Car of the Year 2017: Peugeot 3008
The Peugeot 3008 has been named the European Car of the Year 2017 at the Geneva auto show by dozens of European journalists, Stuff reports.
Peugeot Group CEO Jean Philippe Imparato said the recognition was a fantastic honor. He also said orders for the model have reached over 100000 units for the first five months of the year.
Peugeot is back. Peugeot is the it machine at the moment, we have 125 000 orders in 5 months for 3008.
Among the other nominees for the Car of the Year 2017 award were the:
- Alpha Romeo Giulia;
- Citroën C3;
- Mercedes-Benz E-Class;
- Nissan Micra;
- Toyota C-HR, and;
- Volvo S90/V90.

The Peugeot 3008
According to WhatCar?, the small Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) has a ‘striking appearance’ and comes in either petrol or diesel engines of various sizes.
It also handles well but not as comfortable as a Nissan Qashqai.
