Microsoft’s spam irks Windows 10 users
Microsoft’s aggressive marketing strategy on Windows 10 has irked users. According to TechTimes, the OS has been spamming users to install Microsoft’s Personal Shopping Assistant add-on to their Google Chrome browser.
The extension is basically a price comparison application which allows users to compare prices from various shopping sites for products they are interested in. Unfortunately, Microsoft’s smart application does not care if you are doing shopping or trying to do serious work.
The ads are rather intrusive and users have given colorful comments with everyone giving one star rating. Yikes!
Let’s hope Microsoft the comments can knock some sense into their big heads.
