Apple unveils the new iPhone SE
Apple has unveiled its latest iPhone – the iPhone SE – which according to The Telegraph is the cheapest iPhone yet.
The iPhone SE is smaller compared to its other versions. It has a 4-inch screen and has been described by its maker as “the most powerful 4-inch phone ever.” It also comes with a 12-megapixel camera that can capture 4k videos, and an A9 chip; the same used in the iPhone 6s.
The A9 chip also comes embedded with an M9 motion coprocessor which powers the accelerometer, compass and gyroscope and gives the ability to activate Siri without picking up the phone.
The iPhone SE also comes with iOS 9 – the latest version of the software. Unfortunately, there is limited shelf space so something has to go to give way for the new phone and according to The Telegraph’s technology writer Rhiannon Williams Twitter feed, the iPhone 5 has been retired.
