Default Telikom PNG passwords to be disabled

Data customers will need to change their passwords if they are still using the default.
Telikom PNG will be disabling access using default passwords for its data customers starting on February 28. According to a public notice by the service provider, customers using Citifon handsets, EVDO internet dongles, MiFi modems, WiMax and ADSL devices must create new passwords if they are still using the default.
“The current default password for these devices will be disabled as of 28th February, 2016. Hence, you are required to create a new password to access your internet account.”
Telikom PNG also advised that passwords need to more than six (6) characters and use alphanumberic characters for improved security.
Telikom PNG customers can change their passwords by logging on to the self-care page.
