AllcomMCR Acquired by Digicel PNG
AllcomMCR has become the latest ICT company in Papua New Guinea to be acquired by Digicel PNG.
The acquisition comes barely a year after Allcom and MCR announced their merger. Both companies have been operating the country since 2008 and 2009 respectively.
According to Gary Corbain, head of Digicel Business Solutions, the move is expected to result in greater efficiencies by combining their expertise, experience and coverage.
AllcomMCR managing director, Luke Byer, said the acquisition will see the development of new and enhanced products and services.
