PNGCS 2014 first quarter seminar
The Papua New Guinea Computer Society (PNGCS) will be hosting its first seminar for the year at Holiday Inn in Port Moresby thanks to major partner, Daltron.
In a public notice, the society stated the event to be hosted at the hotel’s Kumul room on Tuesday, April 29 starting at 1pm and ending at 5pm.
The seminar is set to be interesting with four papers already announced.
First up is Daltron’s Retail and Marketing Manager, Ashwin Prasad, set to present “Changing Consumer Trends in IT”, and followed by the CEO of BeMobile, Sundar Ramamurthy with “Mobile Telecommunications & Advancements in Technology” then a coffee break.
This will be followed by Dr Amanda Watson’s paper on “Utilising Mobile Phones for Development in PNG” and finished off with “An Overview of Daltron’s Managed Services.”
The admission is free for PNGCS members whilst invited guests and interested public are requested to register prior to the event. However, interested parties need to register as soon as possible because the closing date is on Monday (April 28) morning.
