A biblical park in Israel is making the news following a decision to equip donkeys with wireless routers.
Kfar Kedem in Galilee town of Hoshaya, northern Israel now offers a merging experience of the old and new.
The park offers tourists the experience of life in ancient Galilee with the ability to tweet and share on Facebook while doing it.
The park’s manager, Menachem Goldberg, said he hoped the move will help connect the younger generation to share their experiences. However, he downplayed the idea that 21st century tourists have become addicted to technology.
There are currently 30 donkeys active in the park but authorities have only fitted 5 with the wireless internet routers hanging in bags around their necks.
