Digicel PNG Bars Hide Caller ID

If you have been that recipient of unknown calls, asking annoying questions and simply abusing the hide caller ID privilege then be at ease because that service has been stopped.
Digicel PNG has finally deactivated the hide caller ID service meaning that callers cannot hide their numbers anymore.
Digicel PNG’s technical department had completed the process in January and now it has been finally made official.
The move comes after numerous complaints about the abuse of the hidden ID service. Digicel PNG’s operational director, Lorna McPherson said that a lot of customers were getting annoyed with because people have been abusing it.
Several Digicel PNG subscribers have welcomed the change saying it will minimize the misuse of mobile phone services.
