Education Secretary arrested for fraud
The Secretary for the National Department of Education (NDoE), Dr Uke Kombra, has been arrested and charged for misappropriation and abuse of office, according to a statement from the National Fraud and Anti-Corruption Directorate (NFACD).
In a statement released today (refer below), the charges stem from the Secretary failing to report a contractor failing to supply educational material that had been paid for.
