Patti ‘Potts’ Doi’s latest album ‘Planet’ out!

The ‘King of Pacific Music’, Patti ‘Potts’ Doi has released his latest album called ‘Planet’ in compact disc (CD) and flash drive mediums. The album contains 10 original songs and has tracks which he has collaborated with Stan Antas , Mareani Masani and Jayrex Suisui.

The album, as Doi describes in the album information, is a personal reflection about planet Earth and his main message is a reminder for humanity to value our home.

When you refuse to resuse, it’s the Earth you abuse.

Forests are green, oceans are blue.

Keep the Earth clean for you and me.

SAVE THE PLANET.

Patti ‘Potts’ Doi

Doi is no stranger to bringing environmentally conscious messages to his audience. In 1998, his album ‘Lukautim Mama Graun’ was awarded album of the year by YumiFM and was commended by activist Matilda Pilacapio for his message.

I recently got myself a copy on pen drive and I already have a couple of favorites that have been added to my playlist. They are the second track ‘Shell Money’ which is a collaboration with Masani and the final track ‘Baby Boi’ which I am assuming is a tribute to a child he lost.

There is also a catchy tune called ‘Vanuatu’ which is a collaboration with ni-Vanuatu reggae artist Stan Antas from Stan & the EarthForce Band and also ‘Palik’ is another catch collaboration with Jayrex.
