Lion dance to celebrate Chinese New Year at Vision City
The China-PNG Friendship Association Inc. hosted a traditional lion dance at the Vision City Mega Mall last Saturday (February 9) to welcome the Chinese new year – the year of the pig.

Not to be confused with the dragon, the lion has 2 performers: one controlling the front and the other the rear. The dragon, on the other hand, has more than 2 performers – sometimes as many as 15 people.
