Technology that Every Vehicle in Port Moresby Needs
Port Moresby has a reputation for car-jacking and accidents. Now, although I haven’t been a victim of car-jacking, I’ve had to deal with a couple of accidents. Fortunately, they were only minor and no one was hurt. However, not everyone will be so lucky – and not all motorists are honest enough to ‘fix’ the damage they cause.
Now, thankfully there is technology available to help you when you get into such situations. Here is a list of 2 devices or technology that ought to be put in your vehicle.
The Dash Cam: A dashboard camera or dash cam for short should be something you should consider investing in. There are so many reckless drivers around that it could become an asset when you find yourself in an accident.

On the same token, it would also be a great idea for our police force and other State bodies to have this technology in their vehicles. It would be a great tool for persecuting traffic offenders.

GPS: The next, but not the least, device that vehicle owners should consider is a GPS tracker. In a city with frequent car-jacking, it is an ideal solution to quickly recover stolen vehicles.
It is also ideal for making sure company vehicles are not abused, or keeping an eye on your car that a friend is using.
These are just two devices that show how technology can be utilized by vehicle owners. There are so many other devices that you can use and it doesn’t have to be costly. There are solutions that you can install yourself which doesn’t have to burn a hole in your pocket.
