Internal auditors website launched

The Institute of Internal Auditors PNG Chapter (IIA PNG) have launched their website, making it possible for members and the public to access information relating to organization online, the Post Courier reports.
According to the organisation’s president, Daisy Bautista, the site would serve to update members with the latest developments. She said:
“The website will provide the latest and current changes in the internal auditing profession globally with updates, events and local activities that can be of interest to all the members.”
She also said the site would provide an avenue for members in other centres to share ideas and experiences with their colleagues.
The organisation currently has over 400 members with financial membership of 181, and was started in 1999 under the Australian body. Then in June 2004 the PNG Chapter was granted by IIA Global headquarters in Florida, USA and launched in September that year.
