Digicel offers new prepaid data plans

DigicelPNG now offers a 100MB prepaid plan for K20
Subscribers of Digicel PNG’s data 20 MB package now have the option of upgrading to larger data plan.
The currently popular prepaid data plan “20MB Data 24 Hour Pass” costs subscribers K1.49 and is valid for a day. The service is activated by texting DATA to 16333
According to a sales representative from the Irish telecommunications company, they are now offering a K20 subscription for 100 MB of data valid for a week (7 days). She also said the company “used to have a 500 MB prepaid plan”. However it is no longer available.
While recommending the service, she also said post-paid services are quite expensive and also required subscribers to maintain 3 accounts for voice, data and SMS respectively. She said opening an account would require a minimum of K1000.
To subscribe for the 100 MB plan, you simply SMS 100 to 16334.
