The amazing iPhone 4S / Steve Jobs dies at 56
According to newly appointed Apple CEO Tim Cook, the iPhone 4S is the most amazing one ever. He said this when officially launching the latest version of Apple’s top selling gadget in Cupertino.
The upgraded version of the iPhone 4 has:
- a dual core A5 CPU;
a new GPU that boost graphics up to 7x more;
- two antennas with a revamped iOS allowing a seamless switch between GPRS and CDMA radio;
- an 8megapixel camera on the back;
- 8 hours talk time on 3G and up to 12 hours on 2G, and;
- Most impressively, a voice controlled system just like the Android.
This is great news for subscribers of Citifone’s CDMA network who may now be able to enjoy the features of an iPhone on their network. However, some critics claim that the upgrades are nothing new, describing it as catching up with Android devices.
The phone goes on sale on October 14 but unfortunately, the mind behind this device will not be around to see his product being marketed. Steve Jobs, one of the founding fathers of Apple and a technological visionary has reportedly died at the age of 56 losing his battle with cancer.
Jobs, in a surprising move earlier this year, quit his job as Apple Inc CEO and passed the reins to incumbent Tim Cook.
