How to Download Your Personal Information on Facebook
Facebook recently introduced a service where all your personal information can be archived into a ZIP file and downloaded. This will include all your pictures, videos, wall posts, messages and friends list. The idea came about after critics blamed the social site for being too lax with privacy issues.
How to do it
Click on Account and select Account Settings

At the bottom of My Account – Settings, you will find Download Your Information. Click on Learn More.

This page will appear if you’ve done it correctly.

Download Your Information
Your request will be sent to Facebook who then compiles the data and sends a download link to your email when it is ready for download.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t reveal your personal information shared by others; the photos you’ve been tagged in or mentioned in others’ wall posts.  Â
