Namco Bandai reveals new RPG action game, Code Vein
Code Vein – Vampire RPG Action
Game developer Namco Bandai has officially revealed the new vampire RPG action game, Code Vein.
The plot is weirdly common about a futuristic hell hole brought about by a mysterious disaster. The overview according to the developer:
In the not too distant future, a mysterious disaster has brought collapse to the world, as we know it. Towering skyscrapers, once symbols of prosperity, are now lifeless graves of humanity’s past pierced by the Thorns of Judgment. At the center of the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein. This final stronghold is where the remaining few fight to survive, blessed with Gifts of power in exchange for their memories and a thirst for blood. Give into the bloodlust fully and risk becoming one of the Lost, fiendish ghouls devoid of any remaining humanity.
The game is set for release in 2018 on ‘major home consoles’ and will find players assuming the role of a Revenant. There is no mention of a PC game release. However, we are optimistic that developers will consider it.
The game supposedly will provide a fresh aesthetic and blood curling gameplay twists to the popular third person RPG action genre.
