AnonymousAds – The Bitcoin Alternative to Google AdSense

If you are a blogger or publisher, then monetizing your site is an option to increase monthly revenue, and you would most likely look toward Google AdSense as the go-to-tool. However, there is an alternative – but you earn in bitcoins instead – AnonymousAds.

How I Came Across AnonymousAds

I actually stumbled on this monetization network by accident. The largest ISP in my country, Digicel PNG, decided to block ads on their network and despite increased traffic, revenue dropped. So I started looking for alternatives.

There are many alternatives available. However, most pay directly to Paypal, which would not work in my situation because I’m only allowed to send money, not receive, from my country. This prompted me to search for alternative payment methods, and that’s when I stumbled on this program.

AnonymousAds

AnonymousAds is, as the name suggests, an advertising network that is transparent, does not collect personal information and pays in bitcoins.

Their default monetization mechanism relies on globally unique impressions. However, some advertisers may use the CPA or revenue sharing model. There is also a generous affiliation program which pays 50% of fees collected from advertisers.

The minimum withdrawal threshold is 10000 satoshis.

Is It Any Good?

I guess what you want to know is if it is any good. Can I earn good revenue from it? The truth is, I’m not sure yet. I’ve only started using this network but I will be sure to put an update after a couple of months.

Update (10/03/2017) – I’ve been running the ads on my blogs for a week and already I surpassed the minimum withdrawal threshold. However, I’m letting it built up to at least 50000 satoshis before withdrawing to my Xapo account.

If you deposit anything less than 40000, Xapo takes it as a processing fee.
